Ralls and Tahoka came into Monday’s playoff seeding game at Lady Westerner Field about as evenly matched as they could be.
Each team won seven of eight games in District 4-1A. Each team beat the other on the road.
In games like this, the team that makes the fewest mistakes usually wins.
The Lady Jackrabbits played near-flawless softball.
Ralls scored three runs in the third inning to break a tie, and the Lady Jackrabbits earned the district’s top postseason seed — and a bi-district bye — with a 4-1 victory against the Lady Bulldogs.

Rage at USA Softball game in Midland
Not really much of a story, we just wanted to let everyone know how much fun the kids had on the trip and how great the USA Softball team treated everyone. They made them sit out there and sign autographs for an hour and the team made it seem like it was the best part of their day.

Congratulations Rage 14U
UPDATE:
We have had five girls selected to one of the 14U SPGF all-star teams. They are: Desiray, Mari, Alexis (not pictured in bottom photo), Tabytha, and Kaylynn. They will travel to San Angelo on July 11 to compete in a tournament. Congratulations and good luck.

Rage 14U finished in third place this SPGF season. These kids have come a long way in just three years. Much credit should be given to Morry and those who have assisted him over the years (I don’t want to list names because I’m afraid of leaving someone out, but we all know who you are). I think we are all eager to see what this group will accomplish at the high school level which is the next step for most of them.
Rage 12U finishes 2nd in Tahoka
Rage 12U took 2nd place in the Tahoka Bulldog 12U invitational. They lost their second game and had to fight their way through and play 3 game in a row to make it to the championship games. They came up a bit short with a chance to win in the bottom of the last inning against the Shallowater Thunder/Pole Cats.
